Our Story

Night after night.... Fire after fire.... A gritty midwestern city where the fires were commonplace and the resources, slim. The firefighters, sooty and smoky, putting it all on the line for their city. Two of these firefighters realized that, although the firefighters did their best to take care of the community, they did not do very well with taking care of themselves. They would return from fires and see firefighters consume sugary drinks, coffee, and caffeinated beverages. After pushing their body to its limits they would replenish it with beverages that did more harm than good. There had to be a better way....

The two set out to create a hydration drink crafted with the electrolytes firefighters need to replenish their body and the antioxidants they can use to help fight those cancer-causing compounds to which they are exposed. They teamed up with a doctor with a background in nutritional science, and before you know it, Rekindle was born.
